ITS SUMMER!!!!!

it's here. my first year...ever...where i am not stuck in a day-care all day...wow am i gonna be bored.

i just bought Guitar Heroes II, now i know it's nothing like real guitar, and i know that just cuz i play does not in any way mean i am a rocker (same concept with dance dance revolution). but none the less, i LOVE it. as in, i am sacrificing my summer sleep to play

other than that, i have been busy with books. we are supposed to read one required book (7 habits of a highly effective teenager ) as well as another book with a teenager and a "good, strong moral" as well as a bunch of books of our choosing (recomended 1 a week) that we will discuss and write about in our little county-issued "summer reading log".........

STUPID. STUPID. STUPID. am i the only one who can see what's going on here1!?!?!? they are taking OUR summer, forcing us to read and reflect on 'mind-enhancing novels' to try and develop "healthful habits for the future". the county has to realize sometime, that goodness is a personal choice

THEY CANNOT FORCE ME TO BE A GOOD PERSON.!!

I WILL LIE, AND STEAL AND CHEAT IF I DAMN WELL FEEL LIKE IT!!!!

thats just for now..ill probably get more later..im reading 1984 right now, its a book based on a idealogy of "doublethink", the ability to unconciously accept and understand two different opinions as both being right and true. god, i really like to think that we're smart enough to not let things like that happen. but to be honest, i have very little faith in humanity. none the less.........
